Thursday's Computer Math
Pick one of these games to practice your long division!
www.kidsnumbers.com/long-division.php
If Snork's Long Division is too easy for you you can try some timed divisio.
Click on "Division" on the yellow bar on the left hand side of the screen. Look at the right hand list called "Let's Practice Division" and click on "Timed Division" at the very bottom of the list. In the first yellow box that comes up type "12" and click "Next". In the next yellow box type "120" and click "Start".
www.gamequarium.com/division.html
Click on "division machine" and use level 3.

Good Morning Math: Long Division!
Hello everyone! Please follow the steps to do your math activity for today.
This morning we are going to be working on long division. I know you did this last year, so hopefully you'll catch on quickly!
1) Open up a new Internet Explorer page
2) Type in the website www.coolmath4kids.com
3) Click on the title Lessons/Practice
4) Scroll down the page and click on "Long Division Lessons"
5) Read through the page, then click on "Coolmath's Long Division Practice"
6) Go through the steps of this tutorial (lesson) step by step, reading ALL directions and looking at the corresponding math work. When you finish reading through the page, click on "Go to Next Page"... and repeat step #6!
7) When you get to the fourth page, follow the steps, doing your own math on your scrap paper, then checking your answer by sliding your mouse over the answer boxes.
8) When you complete this page, click on "Back to Long Division" and click on the "Number Monster for Long Division" link. Work on this activity for the remainder of the computer class.
Remember - Practice makes perfect! Well, we will never be perfect, but practice sure makes life easier :) Also, KNOWING YOUR MULTIPLICATION TABLES WILL MAKE DIVISION MMMUUUUUUUUCCCCCHHHHHH EASIER!!!
Have fun :)
